Job Overview:
Requirement/Must Have:
- 6-10 years of experience in test automation.
- Strong hands-on expertise in UI automation, API testing, regression automation, and end-to-end validation using Playwright and Cypress.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks and test scripts using Playwright and Cypress.
- Execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing across POS systems
- Validate integrations between backend services, APIs and downstream applications.
- Work closely with developers, product owners, and QA teams to ensure quality across releases.
- Analyze defects, support root cause investigation, and improve overall test coverage.
- Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines and support release readiness.
Nice to Have:
- Good understanding of POS systems / retail workflows and end-to-end transaction validation.
- Familiarity with Git, Jenkins / Azure DevOps, test reporting, and Agile delivery.
