Catapult Federal Services is a leading financial technology company focused on enhancing connections between individuals and their financial institutions. They are seeking a Senior Application Engineer to provide remote technical support, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure optimal system performance and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Perform remote customer support including system design, installation, repair, testing, and maintenance of technical products
- Troubleshoot complex issues across applications, infrastructure, and third-party systems to drive resolution
- Serve as a liaison between customers, internal teams, and third-party vendors
- Provide guidance and training to customers on system operation and proprietary software
- Support and monitor environments including servers, firewalls, routers, Active Directory, and cloud platforms
- Assist with application support, including .NET-based systems
- Communicate customer feedback to engineering and product teams to support continuous improvement
- Maintain system reliability, performance, and security across environments
Requirements:
- Minimum 6 years of experience in IT Operations or DevOps
- Strong experience supporting .NET applications
- Solid networking knowledge including DNS, TCP/IP, subnetting, routing, and security principles
- Experience troubleshooting across infrastructure, applications, and network layers
- Ability to work cross-functionally with internal teams and external vendors
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Networking, Systems, or Cloud-related certification (e.g., CompTIA Network+, AWS, Azure, CCNA)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred
