About this role
Alteryx is an innovative analytics company seeking a Software Engineer to contribute to building a next generation platform SDK and API suite. The role involves taking ownership of work outcomes, contributing to quality systems, and participating in code reviews to ensure the delivery of high-quality software.
Responsibilities:
- Assist team in definition of work (stories, tasks)
- Take full ownership of work outcomes including development
- Contribute to quality system (framework)
- Participate in code reviews, ensuring our delivery of clean, well-tested, and performant software
Requirements:
- 1-2+ years of Python development and debugging experience
- Experience with (REST) API and/or SDK development
- BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Experience using Git and Git-based pipelines or equivalent
- Growth focused and curious about new challenges and experiences
- Node.js
- Familiarity with cloud computing / managed services (GCP/Azure/AWS)
- Experience or familiarity with AI-driven development in a modern IDE
- Knowledge and experience with distributed computing, big data and stream processing systems
- Experience with a data prep and blend and predictive analytics workflow platform such as Alteryx
