Role Summary
The Business Analyst/Data Analyst is a mid-level position focused on data analysis, report creation, and visualization to support organizational decision-making. The role involves interpreting complex data sets, developing financial and operational insights, and communicating findings effectively to leadership. This position requires collaboration with various departments to ensure data accuracy and timely reporting.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and update annual report exhibits, statistical reports, and data books utilizing multiple databases.
- Generate data visualizations and dashboards using Tableau to present insights clearly and effectively.
- Prepare detailed cost reports for nursing homes, hospitals, and other healthcare providers to evaluate financial performance and operational status.
- Build short-term and long-term forecasting models by integrating relevant variables influencing outcomes.
- Facilitate data integration from financial, claims, eligibility, and third-party systems into standardized and ad hoc reports.
- Deliver accurate and timely reports to support internal stakeholders’ decision-making processes.
- Analyze data trends and produce projections to assist in strategic planning.
- Collaborate with leadership to understand organizational goals and translate data into actionable recommendations.
- Maintain and ensure the integrity of data sources, reports, and visualizations.
- Support continuous improvement of reporting processes and data management practices.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, business analysis, or related roles.
- Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Experience with Tableau or comparable data visualization tools.
- Strong analytical skills, with a focus on reporting and data modeling.
- Ability to communicate complex data insights effectively to non-technical stakeholders and leadership.
- Proven capacity to work independently and manage multiple reporting tasks simultaneously.
- Availability to work in an on-site environment.

Publishing Pay Range: $45.00 - $55.00 hourly
This position is based in office and requires employee to work on-site.
