About this role
Metric Geo is an award winning national firm seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their growing building systems team. The role involves designing electrical systems for complex building projects and collaborating with mechanical engineers and architects.
Responsibilities:
- Design electrical systems for complex building projects
- Support lighting, power, grounding, and low voltage systems
- Produce calculations, drawings, and specifications
- Coordinate with mechanical engineers, architects, and other disciplines
- Participate in client meetings and project coordination
- Learn from senior engineers while building depth and confidence
Requirements:
- 5-15 years of electrical engineering experience in buildings
- EIT required
- Comfortable working in Revit and collaborating across disciplines
- Background in healthcare, higher ed, or commercial projects preferred
- PE preferred
- Looking to grow, not just repeat the same role
- Wants stability, mentorship, and exposure to better projects
