Lead Network Engineer

Global Technical Talent is a minority-owned staffing firm that provides strategic advice and cost-effective technology solutions. They are seeking a Lead Network Engineer to design, develop, and implement network technology solutions, ensuring operational readiness and compliance with enterprise standards.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement network technology solutions to support evolving business requirements
• Partner closely with Network Operations (NOC) and Solution Engineering teams to ensure operational readiness and alignment with enterprise standards
• Integrate new technologies into the existing enterprise network environment, ensuring stability, scalability, and performance
• Proactively identify risks, gaps, and opportunities within the network infrastructure and drive remediation or improvement initiatives
• Test, validate, and certify new software images and hardware platforms to ensure secure and reliable deployment
• Maintain, audit, and enforce network configuration standards to ensure compliance, security, and operational consistency
• Execute strategic initiatives aligned with the enterprise network architecture roadmap
• Participate in disaster recovery planning, testing exercises, security reviews, and audit activities
• Actively engage in global collaboration channels, sharing relevant technical updates, best practices, and operational insights

Requirements:

• 5–7 years of proven experience in network engineering within an IT environment
• Proficiency in Routing/Switching
• Proficiency in SD-WAN
• Proficiency in Wireless
• Proficiency in Firewall
• Proficiency in F5
• Proficiency in Cloud
• Proficiency in Load Balancer
• Proficiency in Zabbix
• Proficiency in Z Scaler
• Knowledge of network architecture

• Proven track record in developing and implementing technological solutions

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
