Senior DevOps Engineer

Granicus is a company transforming the Govtech industry by building and maintaining technology that connects governments with their constituents. The Senior DevOps Engineer will be responsible for the development, automation, and security of the company's diverse portfolio, focusing on optimizing software delivery and mentoring other engineers.

Responsibilities:

• Support the software development process by identifying inefficiencies, recommending solutions, automating delivery, and implementing testing
• Mentor other Engineers
• Technical leadership for medium to large projects
• Escalation support for Tier 2 SRE team in addition to internal DevOps needs
• Provisioning and maintenance of systems, load balancer configs, firewall rules, databases, and other automation driven infrastructure tasks
• Automate CI/CD pipelines to build and deploy our software

Requirements:

• 5+ years of extensive experience with Elasticsearch and ELK stack implementations & Observability (certification is an added advantage)
• Good exposure to AI/ ML
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools, infrastructure as code, Cloud Services, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, artifact management, security scanning, and secrets management
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation
• Demonstrated ability to enforce security compliance and best practices
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset
• Proven track record of mentoring team members and driving continuous improvement initiatives
