Workday is seeking a dynamic marketing professional to drive measurable business impact in the public sector. The Field Marketing Manager will execute integrated marketing programs to generate demand and pipeline growth within federal accounts, collaborating closely with federal sales teams and various marketing functions.
Responsibilities:
- Execute integrated marketing programs that drive demand generation and pipeline growth within federal accounts, continuously optimizing campaigns based on performance data to improve engagement and conversion across the funnel
- Collaborate with solutions marketing to develop and refine messaging, content, and campaign assets that resonate with federal decision-makers and influencers, aligning to key priorities and mission-driven outcomes
- Partner closely with federal sales teams to align on target accounts, campaign strategy, and pipeline goals, supporting account-based marketing initiatives that drive engagement within priority agencies and accelerate deal progression
- Work across digital marketing, creative services, demand generation, and paid media teams to deliver coordinated, multi-channel campaigns that maximize reach and impact
- Oversee end-to-end campaign execution, ensuring programs are properly set up, launched, and tracked within marketing systems, maintaining high standards for operational accuracy and execution quality
- Analyze campaign performance, pipeline contribution, and conversion metrics to identify trends and optimization opportunities, using insights to inform recommendations and improve overall program effectiveness
Requirements:
- 5 to 8 years of field marketing experience in the B2G software industry, with a focus on demand generation and pipeline development
- Proven track record of executing integrated marketing programs that drive measurable business impact
- Experience working closely with sales teams to build and manage pipeline within named or target accounts
- Deep understanding of demand generation strategies and integrated marketing program execution
- Strong ability to align marketing initiatives with sales objectives and pipeline goals
- Experience with account-based marketing (ABM) strategies and target account engagement
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to craft compelling messaging for executive and government audiences
- Strong critical thinking and creative problem-solving abilities
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in fast-paced environments
- Familiarity with marketing automation and CRM platforms such as Salesforce and Marketo
- Client-service mindset with a collaborative, can-do attitude and a focus on collective team success
- Knowledge of U.S. federal agency buying cycles, government procurement processes, and public sector stakeholder dynamics
- Experience marketing to U.S. federal agencies or within the public sector
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field
