Strong understanding of cloud platforms and third-party integrations
MuleSoft experience is highly valuable
SAP experience required, with solid understanding of SAP landscapes (not deep configuration)
Experience architecting solutions with Databricks, MuleSoft, and SAP
New initiatives will be cloud-based (AWS); no future homegrown systems expected
Ability to evaluate vendor products first, then design integrations and ecosystem architecture
Strong understanding of vendor capabilities and marketplace offerings
Focus is on ecosystem design, integration architecture, and non-functional requirements rather than hands-on coding
Integration architecture is the most complex and critical area for this role
Architect does not need to be deeply hands-on technically, but must understand how systems fit together
This is not a pure strategist role; they need a problem-solver
Not looking for someone who stays theoretical or high-level
