Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Senior Azure Engineer to enhance their cloud service broker team. The role involves development and automation using Microsoft Azure, focusing on Infrastructure-as-Code and secure cloud capabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Doing DevSecOps well means development and automation
- Making tasks repeatable and efficient across multiple environments requires Infrastructure-as-Code, scripting, and sometimes writing applications
- Work with us as we shape the next generation of DoD systems
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience building software solutions using Azure in a secure environment
- 3+ years of experience implementing Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform
- Experience designing and automating the provisioning of cloud resources and Infrastructure-as-Code tools
- Experience with Platform as a Service technologies
- Experience deploying and working with Azure Landing Zones
- Experience assisting with implementing and developing Azure policies
- Knowledge of network technologies, including DNS, load balancing, and TLS
- Secret clearance
- HS diploma or GED with 8+ years of experience with software engineering, or Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of experience with software engineering
- Ability to obtain a DoD 8570 or 8140 IAT Level II Certification within 30 days of hire date
- Experience with AWS or Google Cloud Platform
- Experience with Azure Sentinel, Microsoft security and Azure services, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and cloud networking
- Experience with containerization, including Kubernetes
- Experience deploying and managing Azure Virtual Desktop using Infrastructure-as-Code
- Experience with RedHat Enterprise Linux and command-line interfaces, including Bash
- Experience configuring Windows client and servers, including Active Directory or Group Policies
- Experience with Git and GitLab
- Top Secret clearance
- Master's degree
- Azure Architect Expert Certification
