Oracle is a leading company in AI and cloud solutions, and they are seeking a Principal Business Insights Analyst to join their Product Development Tools and Innovations Team. This role focuses on delivering business insights through detailed analysis of subscription data, shaping predictions, and engaging with executives to drive business growth.
Responsibilities:
- Perform detailed analysis of subscriptions data towards ensuring integrity in TINNO solutions and enabling high quality insights
- Connect multiple types of data towards generating new awareness of patterns that can shape predictions and solve business challenges
- Use Excel, Oracle Analytics Cloud Data Visualizer (OAC DV) and SQL Query to explore data to uncover patterns and anomalies that can impact or shape data outcomes. Note: This is not a coding position but requires skills allowing different means of querying and joining data in order to shape insights
- Partner with developers to drive the solution, providing detailed business scenario guidance, visualizations, mocks and perform extensive testing to ensure outcomes are accurate, insightful and actionable
- Drive engagement with executives, leaders and other users of TINNO insights towards ensuring most effective uptake, interpretation and resulting actions; fostering the dialogue to drive continued enhancements to meet challenging, emerging business questions
- Demonstrate strong organization and ownership; maintain a detailed, prioritized log of follow-ups and planned enhancements to manage and communicate a shareable roadmap
- Continuously pursue further knowledge – commit to ever-broadening your domain knowledge and sharing it with others, within the team and beyond
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in a similar role within Finance, Sales Operations, Deal Management, M&A or related field
- Experience managing Oracle application subscriptions data to render operational or financial insights
- Functional knowledge of detailed subscriptions transactional scenarios and back-end processes, balancing analysis with practical business outcomes
- Experience in deep analytics and sharing insights with Oracle stakeholders through presentations and other visual representations that answer business questions from leaders in product development, finance, sales and customer success
- Proficient knowledge/experience with Excel, Oracle Analytics Cloud Data Visualizer (OAC DV) and SQL Developer to explore data to uncover patterns and anomalies that can impact or shape data outcomes
