Senior Solutions Architect / Solutions Engineers

PubNub is a company that powers real-time experiences for over 2,000 companies, processing trillions of messages monthly. They are seeking a Senior Solutions Architect / Solutions Engineer to design real-time architectures, build prototypes, and guide customer implementations while collaborating with various teams.

Responsibilities:

• Designing real-time architectures (chat, IoT, live events, etc.)
• Building working prototypes using APIs and SDKs
• Running customer workshops and guide implementations
• Partnering with Sales, Product, and Engineering

Requirements:

• 5+ years in Solutions Architecture, Solutions Engineering, or similar
• Strong coding ability (JavaScript, Python, or Java)
• Experience with APIs, SDKs, and integrations
• Familiarity with real-time systems (WebSockets, Pub/Sub, Kafka, streaming)
• Comfortable working directly with customers and developers
• Interest in AI/LLMs and real-world applications
