Technical Product Management - Internship

Marketeq Talent is seeking a highly technical and execution-focused Technical Product Management Intern to support squad-level product delivery across a modern AI/ML-driven software platform. The intern will own individual epics from requirements validation through QA completion, ensuring product work is aligned with specifications and production-ready.

Responsibilities:

• Own and drive one assigned epic at a time from requirements alignment through QA completion, staging readiness, MVP definition, and production release
• Coordinate execution across engineering, QA, product, and design stakeholders within a small agile squad
• Partner with the Project Manager and Scrum Master to track progress, remove blockers, and maintain delivery alignment
• Ensure implementations fully satisfy approved requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, edge cases, workflow logic, and technical specifications
• Review and validate frontend and backend behavior against documented product expectations and business rules
• Work with engineers to identify and close gaps in frontend requirements, documentation, edge cases, and implementation details
• Partner closely with QA to ensure testing coverage is complete and release quality standards are met
• Identify incomplete workflows, weak UX handling, inconsistent logic, or unresolved edge cases before production release
• Support MVP scoping, release planning, staging validation, and production readiness activities
• Collaborate with client advisory board members to gather usability feedback and translate insights into actionable product improvements
• Assist with advisory board outreach, onboarding, and stakeholder engagement using established internal processes

Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in or recently completed a Master's program in: Engineering Management, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Product Management, QA / Testing, or a related technical discipline
• Strong understanding of technical systems, APIs, workflows, data flow, and modern web application architecture
• Experience working with user stories, acceptance criteria, edge cases, and software delivery workflows
• Ability to coordinate across engineering, QA, product, and design teams to ensure work is completed according to specification
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and follow-through
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
