Wanda Health is transforming healthcare with an AI-enabled platform aimed at improving metabolic health. The role involves working closely with the CEO and tech team to design user experiences and marketing materials, influencing how the company presents itself to users and partners.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct user and product research to inform design decisions—talking to real users, synthesizing findings, and translating them into clear design direction
- Design intuitive, polished interfaces for web and mobile in Figma, collaborating closely with our development team to bring them to life
- Create marketing materials, pitch decks, and visual assets in Google Slides and your tool of choice that communicate our mission clearly and compellingly
- Partner with leadership to establish and evolve a consistent visual language across product and brand
Requirements:
- 2–5 years of UI/UX design experience, ideally with direct-to-consumer digital products that are live
- Strong Figma skills and comfort working in Google Slides; other tools are flexible
- A portfolio that shows both product thinking and visual craft—we want to see how you solve problems, not just how things look
- Comfortable with ambiguity and energized by early-stage work—you don't need everything defined to do great work
- Care for the people on the other side of the screen—our users are managing real health challenges and good design here genuinely matters
- Experience in or genuine curiosity about health, wellness, or behavior change (not required, but a real plus)
- Based in the South or Midwest US—we're building for users in these communities and want a designer who understands them
