Modern Intelligence is building the foundational AI for defense. They are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead the Cutlass software team, focusing on refining high-level requirements, designing software solutions, and executing plans with minimal oversight.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the Cutlass software team
- Take high level requirements from leaders and refine them
- Put together a design document and get it appropriately reviewed
- Plan and lead the execution of those plans with minimal oversight from leaders
- Provide an effective interface between the team, other teams, and leaders on both technical and business sides
- Work alongside the Director of Engineering, Machine Learning Lead, and Data Science Lead to set the direction for Cutlass
- Influence the tech stack and architecture, as well as the engineering culture at Modern
