Kforce Inc is a consulting solutions firm seeking a Principal Consulting Solutions professional to provide pre-sales engineering, solution design, and implementation oversight for client engagements. The role involves advising clients on complex problems, developing sales collateral, and ensuring successful service delivery and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the highest level of technical expertise in the Firm and act as a thought leader by advising clients on how to best solve complex problems
- Align with Sales and assigned internal team members to assist in creating client sales and development strategies. Attend account/sales pipeline reviews and serve as a primary contact for Kforce Consulting Solutions (KCS) project and opportunity related activities
- Develop client sales collateral including PowerPoint deck, SOW, pricing, technical scope, implementation plan, timeline, risks, issues, case studies and best practices
- Provide post-sale collaboration with Solutions Delivery on the implementation of services to include team orientation, engagement set up, performance management, service level agreement compliance, service metrics, quality control, security compliance, reporting and continuous improvement
- Serves as a point of escalation in resolving complex client issues directly related to service delivery commitments
- Develop and adhere to the department and practice playbooks including tools, processes and procedures to actively monitor and represent practice metrics to stakeholders
- Track success metrics of engagements
- Continually identify and recommend improvements to become more productive and scalable and participate in client QBR’s (quarterly business reviews)
- Support the administration, networking, relationship management and coaching of key consultants in the Principal Consultant Program
- Assist in supporting KCS branding and marketing by partner with Practice Leaders to write and post original content, attend events, develop case studies and project successes
- Create personas, screen candidates, and make hiring decisions related to the billable consultants that will deliver solutions to our clients
- Maintain current information on trends and best practices within relevant technical, functional and industry within the practice area(s)
- Create and deliver technical demos, proof of concepts to demonstrate solutions during the sales process or during project management

- Strong Backend Frameworks & Python proficiency
- Comfortable building, developing and maintaining C#, Java and Python-based AI systems
- Expected to be fully hands-on, not just familiar with syntax
- LLM & Generative AI Experience
- Prompt engineering
- Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
- Fine-tuning concepts
- Working with multimodal models (text + images)
- Experience embedding AI into vector search systems
- API connectivity to models, familiarity with multiple LLM providers (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic)
- Agentic AI Workflows
- Experience building agent-based workflows using frameworks such as: LangGraph, Microsoft SDKs, Google ADK, AWS SDKs, AgentForce, or similar agentic frameworks
- Understanding of agentic AI lifecycle (design → build → evaluate)
- Exposure to cloud environments (Azure and/or AWS)
- Cloud‑agnostic mindset is preferred over deep DevOps specialization
- Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of experience
- Experience in professional services (i.e., systems integrators, management consulting, software) required
- Team or Lead experience in one of the Firm's primary practice areas and established experience in at least one industry vertical required
- Able to read and write code, create reference architectures and demonstrate proficiency across the enterprise technology ecosystem
- Two or more in related technical domain area such as AWS Solutions Architect Professional or similar
- US Based travel up to 10%
- Former consulting experience facilitating and managing complex business modernization or digital transformation preferred
