Full Stack Engineer

FrontrowMD is on a mission to solve consumer trust in health and wellness, and they are seeking a Full Stack Engineer with AI experience to join their innovative team. In this role, you will be responsible for improving their AI-powered product and spearheading new AI-forward projects while ensuring a high-quality consumer-facing product experience.

Responsibilities:

• Own end-to-end development: Build and maintain the entire consumer-facing product experience – from responsive front-end UI to scalable back-end APIs. You will own features from concept to launch, ensuring a polished, high-quality product
• Build AI-powered features: Use Large Language Models (LLMs) (e.g. OpenAI GPT, Anthropic Claude) to power interactive features. You'll design and implement AI-powered functionalities that deliver trustworthy answers about supplement ingredients — partnering with the team to learn and apply best practices as you go
• Ensure privacy & compliance: Architect systems with privacy by design. Handle sensitive health data (PHI) in accordance with HIPAA and security best practices – encrypting data, managing access controls, and maintaining user trust while using AI
• Design and evolve backend systems: Set up and maintain backend infrastructure and data pipelines to support AI use cases like retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) and personalization. Build flexible, scalable data storage systems that evolve with product needs and enable iteration over time
