In this role, the Learning Experience Designer will design, develop, and maintain engaging eLearning, instructor-led and quick reference guides for IT audiences. This role partners with subject matter experts (SMEs), product/engineering teams, and learning stakeholders to translate complex technical content into clear, outcomes-based training that measurably improves learner performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and update learning assets including eLearning s, slide decks, facilitator guides, learner guides, labs, demos, job aids, quizzes, and assessments.
Develop content for multiple modalities (instructor-led, virtual instructor-led, self-paced eLearning, blended) and ensure accessibility and inclusive design.
Translate SME input into clear, instructionally sound materials; manage review cycles, version control, and approvals.
Apply learning science and adult learning principles to improve knowledge retention and transfer.
Required Qualifications:
5-10 years of experience designing and developing technical training (corporate, higher ed, bootcamp, or vendor training).
Experience with eLearning authoring tools (Articulate Storyline/Rise) and learning platforms (LMS).
Familiarity with instructional design models and practices (examples: ADDIE, SAM, backward design).
Experience conducting needs analysis and writing measurable learning objectives
Proven familiarity with IT subject matter (examples: AI, Azure, Agile, Data Analytics or DevOps) and the ability to rapidly learn new technologies.
Working knowledge of Agile methodology (Scrum and/or Kanban) and common Agile artifacts and ceremonies.
Bachelor s degree in a related field (e.g., instructional design, education, computer science, information systems) OR equivalent practical experience.
Strong writing and editing skills; ability to simplify complex topics without losing accuracy.
Comfort collaborating with SMEs and stakeholders across technical and non-technical Education & Certifications.
