Patient Placement Coordinator</>
Seeking a customer-focused professional to support patient placement coordination and treatment inquiries in a fast-paced healthcare environment. This role involves handling inbound/outbound communication, coordinating with hospitals and care teams, maintaining accurate patient records, and delivering excellent customer service while ensuring HIPAA compliance.
Responsibilities
- Respond to inbound calls, emails, faxes, and treatment placement inquiries
- Coordinate patient placement requests with hospitals, discharge planners, and case managers
- Maintain accurate patient and referral information within CRM/databases
- Partner with field operations and healthcare providers to support relationship-building efforts
- Meet department performance metrics, quality standards, and service goals
- Ensure confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Support process improvements and maintain strong follow-through on patient cases
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 12 months of related customer service or healthcare support experience
- Strong communication, multitasking, and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment
- Basic to intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access)
- Data entry speed of 25 40 WPM preferred
- Willingness to work flexible or extended hours as needed
