Remote - Frontend / Full-Stack Engineer - Contract to Hire

HYR Global Source Inc is seeking a Frontend / Full-Stack Engineer with strong React expertise. The role focuses on building scalable frontend features, debugging production issues, and supporting platform convergence initiatives across web and mobile applications.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and enhance frontend features using React
• Support app rebuild and platform convergence initiatives
• Work on product enhancements, backlog items, and feature improvements
• Debug production issues and perform root-cause analysis
• Refactor legacy code for scalability and maintainability
• Support mobile functionality using React Native
• Collaborate with product, UX, and backend teams
• Contribute to backend services using Java / Spring Boot
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and code reviews

Requirements:

• Strong experience with React, JavaScript, and TypeScript
• Experience with hooks, state management, and component architecture
• Hands-on experience consuming REST APIs
• Knowledge of frontend debugging and performance optimization
• Exposure to React Native
• Experience with Java and Spring Boot
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and backend integration
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Experience with large-scale consumer applications
• Exposure to platform migrations or app modernization
• Experience modernizing legacy applications
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and cloud environments
• Retail, e-commerce, or membership platform experience
