VetsEZ is seeking a HealthShare Engineer for a 100% remote position on a large federal government project. The selected candidate will support enterprise healthcare integration environments and work within a collaborative DevSecOps-focused team, automating operational processes and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
Responsibilities:
- Provide strategies and solutions for automating operations and improving software delivery methodologies and technology processes
- Maintain Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines and support backup, recovery, patching, and ADFS integrations
- Manage certificate administration, including updates and renewals across production and lower-level environments
- Provide Tier 3 support for HealthShare applications and related technologies
- Install, configure, and maintain InterSystems base software, kits, patches, and middleware applications
- Support OAuth and Single Sign-On (SSO) configuration and implementation efforts
- Contribute to team objectives and take on additional responsibilities as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent relevant experience
- Minimum of 3–5 years of professional experience in Information Technology and/or Federal Government contracting environments
- Minimum of 2 years of experience coding, maintaining, or supporting production systems
- Hands-on experience with InterSystems Cache, IRIS, or HealthShare technologies
- Experience automating infrastructure, testing, or deployments using tools such as Jenkins and Ansible
- Experience with cloud platforms including Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Experience developing and maintaining CI/CD processes to improve software quality and delivery speed
- Strong experience with Agile and/or SAFe methodologies and DevOps practices
- Experience working with Unix/Linux systems, Apache, Python scripting, and AWS CloudWatch
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government clearance
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Splunk and Dynatrace preferred
- Experience supporting Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) environments is highly preferred
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate certification preferred
- Experience configuring and supporting large-scale middleware applications preferred
