HealthShare Engineer (Remote Opportunity)

VetsEZ is seeking a HealthShare Engineer for a 100% remote position on a large federal government project. The selected candidate will support enterprise healthcare integration environments and work within a collaborative DevSecOps-focused team, automating operational processes and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities:

• Provide strategies and solutions for automating operations and improving software delivery methodologies and technology processes
• Maintain Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines and support backup, recovery, patching, and ADFS integrations
• Manage certificate administration, including updates and renewals across production and lower-level environments
• Provide Tier 3 support for HealthShare applications and related technologies
• Install, configure, and maintain InterSystems base software, kits, patches, and middleware applications
• Support OAuth and Single Sign-On (SSO) configuration and implementation efforts
• Contribute to team objectives and take on additional responsibilities as needed

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent relevant experience
• Minimum of 3–5 years of professional experience in Information Technology and/or Federal Government contracting environments
• Minimum of 2 years of experience coding, maintaining, or supporting production systems
• Hands-on experience with InterSystems Cache, IRIS, or HealthShare technologies
• Experience automating infrastructure, testing, or deployments using tools such as Jenkins and Ansible
• Experience with cloud platforms including Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Experience developing and maintaining CI/CD processes to improve software quality and delivery speed
• Strong experience with Agile and/or SAFe methodologies and DevOps practices
• Experience working with Unix/Linux systems, Apache, Python scripting, and AWS CloudWatch
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail
• Ability to obtain and maintain a government clearance
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Splunk and Dynatrace preferred
• Experience supporting Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) environments is highly preferred
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate certification preferred
• Experience configuring and supporting large-scale middleware applications preferred
