Enterprise Data & Analytics Engineer

ConsultNet Technology Services and Solutions is a premier national provider of technology talent and solutions. They are seeking a Data Engineer to support enterprise data platforms, responsible for developing scalable systems and enabling data-driven solutions across the business.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain scalable, enterprise-grade systems that enable data-driven solutions across the business
• Design and deploy data platforms, automate infrastructure, and ensure high availability and performance of systems and applications
• Build and maintain data pipelines, monitor system performance, troubleshoot technical issues, and support production environments
• Partner closely with business and technology teams to analyze requirements and design technical solutions that align with operational needs
• Participate in agile ceremonies, support QA and testing efforts, maintain documentation, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across data projects

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
• Experience with ETL processes and tools
• Strong SQL skills
• Experience working in UNIX/Linux environments
• Experience with Big Data or distributed systems
• Programming experience in Java and/or Python
• Experience with scheduling and orchestration tools
• Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with IBM DataStage or similar ETL tools
• Experience building real-time data pipelines
• Exposure to search technologies
• Experience supporting production environments
• Familiarity with agile methodologies
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies
