They are seeking a Senior Product Manager to own strategy and execution for a core area of Jama Connect, translating customer needs and market signals into product decisions that drive adoption and business growth.
Responsibilities:
- Own product strategy and execution for a core area of Jama Connect, including both strategic direction and delivery
- Define and evolve the product roadmap, balancing customer needs, revenue opportunities, competitive positioning, and technical constraints
- Translate ambiguous problems into clear product direction and actionable work
- Make and communicate tradeoff decisions with minimal guidance
- Partner with Engineering and Design to scope, iterate, and deliver high-impact solutions
- Ensure product decisions are grounded in customer value, market opportunity, and business impact
- Optimize roadmap priorities for adoption, expansion, competitive differentiation, revenue growth, and long-term product value
- Build compelling investment justifications that quantify market demand, customer impact, and business value
- Partner with GTM teams, Customer Success, and Product leadership to improve sales effectiveness, customer expansion, and market share growth
- Participate selectively in late-stage customer or prospect conversations to unblock adoption, validate market needs, and capture evidence of what closes, saves, or expands business
- Translate customer, market, win/loss, and competitive insights into product decisions
- Serve as a strong model for outbound product management practices, including GTM collaboration, commercial framing, customer engagement, and sales-informed prioritization
- Share frameworks, insights, and methodologies that strengthen the broader Product team’s commercial orientation
- Mentor or support other PMs in areas such as go-to-market strategy, win/loss analysis, competitive positioning, and customer-informed product decision-making
- Help strengthen the connection between Product, customers, GTM teams, and market opportunity
- Engage directly with customers and prospects to validate direction, lead discovery conversations, and represent Product credibly with users and executives
- Synthesize field insights, win/loss data, competitive signals, and market trends into roadmap priorities and product strategy
- Build trust with enterprise stakeholders by understanding customer use cases, business drivers, product workflows, and adoption barriers
- Use customer insight to distinguish urgent requests from strategic product opportunities
- Leverage AI-enabled tools and workflows to accelerate product development, research synthesis, experimentation, and decision-making
- Use AI-native workflows to improve speed, quality, and clarity in product discovery, market analysis, prioritization, and communication
- Stay curious about how AI can improve product management practices and customer outcomes
Requirements:
- Strong, relevant Product Management experience, including demonstrated success as a Senior Product Manager in B2B SaaS, enterprise software, technical platforms, or complex product environments
- Strong product strategy experience that extends beyond feature delivery or backlog execution
- Demonstrated success translating customer needs, commercial inputs, competitive signals, and GTM insights into product strategy and roadmap decisions
- Direct enterprise customer engagement experience, including discovery, validation, executive stakeholder conversations, or customer-facing product strategy
- Deep understanding of market-facing product practices such as win/loss analysis, competitive positioning, GTM collaboration, commercial framing, and sales-informed prioritization
- Strong commercial product judgment, including awareness of adoption, expansion, revenue impact, competitive differentiation, product value, and market opportunity
- Ability to operate with autonomy and ambiguity, make decisions without complete information, and manage competing priorities
- Proven history of successful cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder influence across Product, GTM, Customer Success, Engineering, Design, and broader leadership
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Intellectual agility, curiosity, and a passion for product strategy
- Collaborative operating style with the ability to challenge assumptions constructively and influence without authority
- Experience in regulated, technical, or complex industries such as semiconductor, industrial and consumer electronics, aerospace and defense, medical devices, industrial technology, automotive, or related markets
- Experience partnering with UX / Design on customer-facing product decisions
- Exposure to pricing, packaging, monetization, or enterprise B2B platform business models
