We are looking for a Java Programmer to design, develop, and maintain high-performance, secure applications. If you have a passion for microservices, cloud-native DevOps, and robust backend engineering, we want to hear from you!
Position Overview
- Location: Dimondale, MI (48821)
- Work Arrangement: Hybrid (Onsite from Day 1, 2 5 days per week based on manager's discretion). Local candidates within a 2-hour drive only.
- Interview Process: Strictly In-Person. Candidates must be available to interview on 5/28 or 5/29.
Core Technical Stack (Must-Haves)
- Backend Mastery (10+ Years): Expert-level Core Java, Multithreading, Concurrency, Collections, and JVM Performance Tuning. Strong proficiency in Spring, Spring Boot, Oracle, and Hibernate/JPA.
- Cloud & DevOps (3+ Years): Microservices architecture, Containerization (Docker), and Orchestration (OpenShift or Kubernetes), alongside CI/CD pipelines (Git, Jenkins, Maven).
- Modern Front-End: Hands-on experience spanning Angular, React, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Enterprise Security: Proven expertise implementing secure identity and access management using OAuth 2.0, SAML, OpenID Connect, and JWT.
Preferred & Desired Skills
- Messaging: Experience with message queuing systems like IBM MQ or equivalent.
- Databases: Extensive exposure to both Relational (Oracle) and NoSQL databases.
- Testing: Hands-on with automated testing frameworks (JUnit, Selenium); familiarity with Playwright is a major plus.
- Modern Tools: Exposure to AI-driven development tools (Amazon Q & Kiro).
- Agile: Strong experience collaborating via Scrum/Kanban and tracking user stories in Jira.
