Project Manager

RDQ, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager to lead transmission line design and construction projects. The role involves overseeing planning, budgeting, and execution to ensure high-quality delivery on time and under budget, while managing various engineering activities.

Responsibilities:

• Planning, directing, and coordinating civil/structural engineering design activities for the construction of electric transmission line facilities
• Establishes and performs civil/structural engineering analyses for transmission facilities
• Helps coordinate project schedules and budgets
• Helps support the development of contracts, technical specifications, and drawing bid packages
• Maintain outstanding current company-client relationships and expand company relationships to other utilities and consultancies
• Provide technical assistance and training for entry-level engineers
• Must possess good interpersonal and people skills
• Interaction with staff, the general public, officials and contractors
• Maintain high ethical and professional standards within the overall organization
• Prepare proposals and identify future projects to bid on

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering from an A.B.E.T. Accredited School
• 8+ years of experience in transmission utility work
• Proficiency in PLS-CADD required
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Experience in distribution design a plus
• Experience in Microsoft office is preferred
• PE license and/or PMP is preferred
