Apex Infrastructure Consultants is seeking a Network Infrastructure Project Manager to support large-scale data center and campus infrastructure deployment. This role focuses on fiber optic infrastructure, structured cabling, and related low-voltage systems in mission-critical environments, requiring hands-on project coordination experience.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and support network infrastructure deployment across data center and campus environments
- Coordinate fiber optic, structured cabling, Cat6, OSP, and ISP scope from design review through installation, testing, documentation, and closeout
- Support planning and execution of intra-building and intra-campus connectivity
- Review Basis of Design documents, design drawings, routing plans, structured cabling layouts, splice diagrams, construction documents, and IFC packages
- Participate in design reviews and help identify gaps, constructability issues, field conflicts, or coordination risks
- Coordinate with developers, design teams, general contractors, cabling vendors, low-voltage contractors, and installation teams
- Support ISP infrastructure including data halls, network rooms, MDAs, structured cabling systems, cable trays, conveyance systems, and high-density cabling environments
- Review and coordinate cable pathways, routing, labeling, splicing, testing, terminations, and installation practices
- Track project changes, technical issues, action items, open risks, and cabling-related scope updates
- Facilitate coordination meetings and communicate project status, risks, and open items clearly
- Review as-built drawings, test results, closeout documentation, redlines, and final turnover packages
- Support successful delivery of complete, accurate, and scalable network infrastructure
Requirements:
- Experience with fiber optic infrastructure, structured cabling, low-voltage systems, telecom infrastructure, or network infrastructure deployment
- Experience working in data centers, large campuses, telecom environments, mission-critical facilities, construction projects, or complex infrastructure environments
- Understanding of OSP and ISP infrastructure
- Knowledge of fiber routing, Cat6 cabling, structured cabling, splicing, testing, labeling, pathway design, terminations, and installation best practices
- Ability to read and review technical drawings, construction documents, cabling layouts, routing plans, and specifications
- Familiarity with network rooms, data halls, server rooms, MDAs, IDFs, MDFs, structured cabling, backbone systems, cable trays, racks, patching, and cable management
