AvaSure is a pioneer in inpatient telehealth, dedicated to providing safer environments for patients. The Sales Development Representative will generate new business opportunities by conducting outbound calls and emails to potential prospects, supporting the sales and marketing teams in their efforts to improve healthcare operations.
Responsibilities:
- Raise awareness and generate interest for AvaSure through cold calling, emails, and messaging through LinkedIn to prospective customers
- Schedule initial discovery calls for AvaSure Sales Executives and do research on the accounts and people you are reaching out to
- Meet or exceed assigned daily activity minimums of 80-100 calls that leads to 20 discovery calls executed
- Provide constructive feedback on how to improve effectiveness and efficiency within the BDR role
- Strategize with the sales and marketing team on new campaigns that will help generate new leads
- Collaborate with team members to share and learn from best practices
- Update Dynamics 365 daily including lead records, activity notes, account notes, etc
- Create email and call campaigns and execute them within the sales automation platform or CRM
- Stay up to date with new products, services, pricing, etc. that AvaSure has to offer
- Be accountable for meeting monthly sales quotas
- Participating in sales meetings
Requirements:
- Some college preferred
- 1-3 years of experience in sales, customer success, or marketing preferred
- Have worked on sales teams in the past or have a passion for sales or customer success
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in healthcare is a plus
- Experience working in CRMs and sales automation tools is a plus
