Senior Application Engineer

MedGEO is a healthcare technology company building the infrastructure that connects healthcare systems to the modern data ecosystem. As a Senior Application Engineer, you will own mobile development across iOS and Android, creating native apps that assist clinicians in live surgical environments.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain high-quality, enterprise-grade mobile applications for iOS and Android — tablets and smartphones
• Develop native features in Swift and SwiftUI for iOS
• Develop native features in Kotlin/Java for Android
• Leverage React Native for cross-platform development where appropriate
• Collaborate with designers to implement intuitive, responsive interfaces optimized for clinical environments
• Leverage Vision Kit and CoreML for advanced image recognition and real-time processing features
• Integrate LLMs (OpenAI, Claude, etc.) into mobile workflows for conversational interfaces and clinical documentation
• Build context-aware AI chat experiences using patient records, medications, and appointment data
• Implement vector databases and semantic search for intelligent data retrieval on-device
• Own mobile build and release pipelines for both App Store and Google Play
• Integrate with backend systems and third-party APIs ensuring security and HIPAA compliance
• Apply edge AI principles — performance, memory, and power trade-offs for mobile deployment
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and automated testing for mobile reliability
