Closeloop Technologies is looking for an experienced Zuora Business Systems Analyst who can bridge the gap between business requirements and Zuora system implementation. The role involves understanding business needs related to billing and subscriptions, translating them into Zuora configurations, and collaborating with engineering teams to implement solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Understand and analyze business requirements related to billing, subscriptions, and revenue processes
- Translate business needs into Zuora configurations including product catalog, rate plans, subscriptions, and workflows
- Implement solutions using Zuora Billing, Workflows, and APIs in collaboration with engineering teams
- Support and validate integrations between Zuora, Salesforce, and ERP systems (NetSuite, Oracle, SAP)
- Troubleshoot production issues including billing discrepancies, workflow failures, API issues, and data inconsistencies
- Use SQL / Zuora Data Query for data validation, debugging, and reporting
- Work closely with finance, billing, and business stakeholders to ensure accurate system behavior
- Participate in testing, UAT support, and release cycles to ensure production readiness
- Continuously optimize workflows, processes, and system performance
- Create and maintain clear documentation including requirements, solution design, and troubleshooting guides
Requirements:
- Strong experience with Zuora Billing and subscription lifecycle management
- Good understanding of billing processes, invoicing, and revenue flows
- Hands-on experience with Zuora Workflows and basic API integrations
- Experience working with Salesforce and ERP integrations (NetSuite / Oracle / SAP)
- Proficiency in SQL / Data Query for analysis and issue resolution
- Ability to translate business requirements into system configurations
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in production environments
- Experience working in Agile environments with cross-functional teams
- Strong communication skills to interact with both technical and business stakeholders
- Experience with Zuora Revenue
- Exposure to CPQ / CPQX
- Experience in subscription-based or SaaS business models
- Knowledge of middleware tools such as MuleSoft or Boomi
