About this role
Entegee is seeking experienced Mechanical Engineers with a strong background supporting commercial nuclear power plant design modification projects. This role focuses on developing and driving engineering change/modification packages for operating nuclear facilities.
Responsibilities:
- Develop mechanical engineering design modification packages for nuclear power plants
- Support engineering change control processes within operating nuclear facilities
- Perform calculations, evaluations, and technical documentation for plant modifications
- Work cross-functionally with utilities, engineering teams, and QA organizations
- Drive modifications from concept through implementation
- Participate in daily engineering meetings and project coordination
Requirements:
- BS in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited university
- 8+ years of mechanical engineering experience
- Direct experience supporting commercial nuclear power plants
- Experience with nuclear design modifications / engineering change packages
- Strong understanding of nuclear QA standards, codes, and regulations
- Experience working within operating nuclear facilities preferred
- Prior experience with utilities or nuclear engineering firms highly preferred
