Hardware Network Engineer

NextGen is a Kelly Telecom Company focused on supporting large-scale 4G and 5G network maintenance activities. They are seeking an experienced Wireless Network Hardware Engineer to execute scheduled network changes remotely and provide maintenance support during overnight maintenance windows.

Responsibilities:

• Execute mass network changes in live customer environments
• Support software upgrades, parameter changes, and alarm clearing
• Review and validate Engineering MOPs (Methods of Procedure)
• Support RF Engineers, Transport Teams, Lab Teams, and HQ teams
• Troubleshoot network issues and provide maintenance window support
• Monitor KPIs and maintain error-free execution standards

Requirements:

• 10+ years of wireless network engineering experience
• Strong knowledge of 4G/5G wireless technologies and RAN architecture
• Experience with UNIX/LINUX CLI environments
• Experience executing scripts and remote network changes
• Understanding of wireless network infrastructure including RAN and CORE
• Experience troubleshooting wireless hardware/software issues
• Familiarity with networking equipment, fiber optics, GPS systems, LAN/WAN
• Experience supporting live production telecom networks
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Ability to work independently in high-pressure maintenance windows
