ReflexAI is building the operating system for conversation performance, ensuring people are prepared for high-stakes conversations. As a Senior Product Designer, you will own the design process from exploration to implementation, collaborating closely with product management and engineering to shape product direction and enhance user experience.
Responsibilities:
- Own design end-to-end for your pod — from early exploration and problem framing through implementation and iteration
- Be an equal partner with PM and engineering in shaping product direction, not just executing on it
- Bring high craft to every surface you touch — strong UX thinking and sharp visual design, working together
- Know when a problem needs your full design attention and when the right move is to consult, equip, and get out of the way — writing documentation, establishing patterns, or giving pointed feedback so engineers and PMs can move confidently without you
- Navigate ambiguous problems and make them clearer — for yourself and for the people you're working with
- Communicate design decisions with clarity and conviction, and know how to bring stakeholders along without losing your point of view
- Actively use and experiment with AI tools in your design workflow, and help shape how the team works with them over time
Requirements:
- 5–8 years of product design experience and a portfolio that reflects genuine craft — strong visual design, sharp UX thinking, and meticulous attention to detail
- Designed products people actually love to use, and brought that consumer-grade quality to B2B contexts where the bar is typically lower
- Worked on AI-powered products and have intuitions about what good AI UX looks like — not just what's technically possible, but what's actually useful and trustworthy
- Strong ownership mentality: treat the product you're working on as yours, not a task list someone handed you
- Know that great design isn't always about doing the design yourself — sometimes it's about writing the doc, establishing the pattern, or giving the engineer just enough direction to move well without you
- Actively experimenting with AI tools in your design practice — because you genuinely believe the craft is evolving and you want to be ahead of it
- Motivated by impact and velocity: move fast, push for quality, and get restless when momentum slows down for the wrong reasons
- Strong collaborator who makes cross-functional work easier, not harder — engineers and PMs want to work with you again
- Communicate with clarity: can explain your design decisions, take feedback without defensiveness, and push back with a real argument when you disagree
- Detail-oriented in a way that shows up in the work, not just in how you talk about work
- Can't stop thinking about what would make the product better — in the shower, on a walk, first thing in the morning — and can't wait to get to your desk to try something
