Senior Software Engineer - Mobile (Android)

Eight Sleep is the world’s first sleep fitness company, dedicated to optimizing human potential through innovative sleep technology. They are seeking an experienced Senior Android Software Engineer to enhance their mobile app, which is crucial for user interaction and product configuration, while collaborating with various teams to ensure high-quality performance and user experience.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct code reviews
• Ensure code quality
• Optimize app performance to enhance user experience

Requirements:

• 6+ years of shipping high-quality features for native Android apps
• Fluent proficiency in Kotlin/Jetpack Compose/Coroutines/Flow/MVVM/MVI
• Experience building scalable, testable enterprise grade apps
• Ability to work efficiently in a rapid paced environment while maintaining a focus on stability
• Proficiency in building custom UI components in Compose
• Experience building software for hardware products, particularly in the health/medical field
• Experience working with Health related apps and peripherals
