VETRESKA is a creative pet brand focused on redefining pet products with imaginative designs. They are seeking a Business Development Sales Manager to lead business expansion initiatives in the USA pet retail market, driving revenue growth and developing strategic partnerships.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and drive business expansion across the USA market, focusing on major cities and strategic growth regions
- Proactively source and pursue new leads, clients, and business opportunities
- Develop and manage relationships with key distributors, wholesalers, major retailers, and pet specialty partners across the USA
- Drive and oversee the overall sales pipeline across multiple sales channels, ensuring consistent business growth and account expansion
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans and commercial initiatives aligned with company growth objectives
- Present brand portfolios, seasonal sell-in decks, and business proposals to key partners in alignment with brand positioning and direction
- Lead commercial negotiations, partnership discussions, and annual business planning with distributors and retail partners
- Monitor sales performance, market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to optimize commercial strategies and business decisions
- Work closely with internal team to ensure smooth onboarding, product launches, sales support, and operational execution for partners
- Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the sales team to ensure achievement of sales targets and KPIs
- Prepare and present regular sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and business performance reports to management
- Represent the company at trade shows, distributor meetings, industry networking events, and market visits across the USA
Requirements:
- 7+ years of business development, sales, or commercial management experience, ideally within lifestyle, pet, FMCG, or design-driven consumer categories
- Strong experience managing distributors, retailers, and strategic B2B partnerships within the USA market
- Proven track record in driving revenue growth, market expansion, and business development initiatives
- Leadership and team management experience required
- Fluent in English; proficiency in another language is a plus
- Strong commercial acumen, excellent negotiation, communication, presentation skills, and understanding of design and lifestyle trends
- Self-driven and results oriented
- Open to travel frequently within USA
- Existing industry network and ability to bring in business leads and strategic partnerships is highly preferred
