Vander Weele Group is a leading provider of grant monitoring and oversight solutions, and they are seeking a high-caliber Project Manager to lead their inspection contract services. This role involves managing compliance reviews and ensuring adherence to federal oversight standards while leading a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the seamless single point of contact for the CO and COR, ensuring 100% conformity to all contract terms and technical requirements
- Implement management methods that ensure all deliverables meet GAGAS and QSI&E (Blue Book) standards through flawless QA/QC of data and analytical documentation
- Synthesize inspection data into actionable trends and risk analyses that allow the OIG to establish effective hierarchies for follow-up inspections
- Ensure the contractually required level of support is always maintained, managing personnel changes and updates within strict 48-hour windows
- Provide formal, high-level recommendations that improve the effectiveness of focus areas and inspection documents
- Providing day-to-day management of overall contract support operations and maintaining authority for technical and financial decisions
- Leading a team of up to 25+ personnel in a high-stakes, fast-paced environment to ensure success
- Facilitating weekly progress meetings and providing comprehensive monthly reports that accurately assess technical progress and schedule status
- Acting as the primary responder to technical problems, ensuring resolutions are provided within 4 hours
Requirements:
- 5-7 years of experience in high-level project management or large-scale compliance programs, with deep expertise in GAGAS and Blue Book standards
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; Master's degree or relevant professional certification is preferred
- Superior verbal and written skills and can translate complex operational data into clear management insights
- Value integrity and are committed to unannounced, high-stakes compliance reviews that ensure facility standards are met nationwide
- U.S. Citizen (this is required), and must be able to successfully pass a Tier 2/Moderate Risk public trust fitness screening
- Must be free of any actual or perceived conflicts of interest (COI) relative to the facilities under review
- Master's degree or relevant professional certification
