Engineering Manager, DevOps

MaintainX is the world's leading AI-powered maintenance and asset management platform, serving over 13,000 customers. They are seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the DevOps team, focusing on scaling infrastructure, improving developer experience, and ensuring platform reliability.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of platform and DevOps engineers: set direction, remove blockers, and develop talent
• Own the DevOps roadmap, balancing developer experience improvements, platform efficiency, and infrastructure reliability
• Partner with product engineering teams to build the tooling and self-service capabilities that let them own their deployments
• Partner with the security team to ensure compliance across our environments, and to offer a safe and secure platform upon which the development teams can thrive
• Drive infrastructure strategy across cloud, container orchestration, CI/CD, and observability
• Hire, onboard, and grow a high-performing team
• Provide clear visibility into team progress, risks, and outcomes to engineering leadership

Requirements:

• 4+ years of Engineering management experience with a background in DevOps, infrastructure, or platform engineering
• You've shipped production infrastructure, understand cloud-native systems, and can engage on hard technical problems with your team
• Track record of measurably improving developer experience and platform reliability at scale
• Strong communicator who can translate infrastructure complexity for product and business stakeholders
• Proven ability to hire and build high-performing technical teams
• Comfortable leading teams that use AI-assisted development tools as a core part of their workflow
• Hands-on experience with multi-region environments, infrastructure as code, and modern CI/CD platforms
• Familiarity with compliance-driven infrastructure (SOC 2, FedRAMP, ISO270001 or similar)
• Experience scaling a DevOps function in a fast-growth SaaS environment
