OnePay is a consumer fintech company trusted by millions of Americans to improve financial services. As a Software Engineer on the Servicing Engineering team, you will build and maintain systems that support operations and customer servicing for millions of customers.
Responsibilities:
- Architect, design, and implement software applications that power internal servicing tools and customer support workflows
- Build new features end to end, including early stage 0 to 1 initiatives supporting customer servicing and operations
- Collaborate cross functionally with Operations, Product, and external vendors to deliver integrations and tooling at scale
- Solve complex, real world problems involving large scale money movement and sensitive financial data
- Create and maintain clear technical documentation to support a growing, distributed engineering organization
Requirements:
- 3+ years of professional software engineering experience in fintech, banking, or consumer technology
- Experience building, shipping, and scaling customer facing or internal platform products
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, event driven architectures, and microservices
- Familiarity with banking systems, financial transactions, APIs, and security standards
- Ability to work independently with a high bar for execution, including mentoring others and owning problems end to end

- Familiarity with modern software engineering practices
