Central Research, Inc. (CRI) is dedicated to helping people navigate their federal student loans with compassion and clarity. They are seeking a Bilingual (Spanish/English) Customer Service Representative to assist student loan borrowers with inquiries and provide empathetic customer support in a remote setting.
Responsibilities:
- Assist student loan borrowers with account inquiries, repayment options, and application processes
- Handle inbound and outbound calls in a fast-paced, high-volume contact center environment
- Provide accurate, professional, and empathetic customer support
- Ensure compliance with federal regulations, company policies, and data security standards
- Meet key performance indicators and quality assurance standards
Requirements:
- U.S. Citizenship
- Fluency in Spanish and English, while primarily taking calls from Spanish-speaking customers
- High School diploma or GED
- 6+ months of customer service in a business, non-retail environment or call center experience
- 6+ months of computer experience in a business setting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, OneNote)
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Federal Public Trust (5c) security clearance (financial/credit history and background will be reviewed): Not in default on federal student loans, Demonstrated financial responsibility, No felony convictions within the past 7 years, Misdemeanor convictions within the past 7 years may impact eligibility, No non-medical collections totaling $7,500 or more
