Founding Product Lead, Governed AI

TravelAI™, an UpNext Company, is seeking a Founding Product Lead for a new AI-native platform initiative. The role involves shaping the product vision, building the roadmap, and leading the technical team for the initial delivery of the product.

Responsibilities:

• Own product strategy and roadmap for a new enterprise AI platform initiative
• Translate early concept work into a clear, buildable product plan
• Lead product direction for Phase 1 and manage the small technical team supporting the initial build
• Help map out who we need to hire, when we need to hire them, and how the team should evolve
• Work directly with the CEO on priorities, design-partner conversations, and market-facing narrative
• Work with external channels on GTM initiatives, enterprise-grade pricing, and sales positioning
• Partner closely with external implementation partners while keeping core product ownership in-house
• Shape requirements across platform workflows, governance needs, AI-assisted experiences, and enterprise readiness
• Work with fractional legal and compliance teams to ensure we are privacy-first and by design
• Build strong operating rhythms across product, engineering, and external collaborators
• Help establish the foundation for a larger team and function as the initiative grows
