Key Responsibilities
Configuration Management Platform Governance
- Define, consult, and continuously enhance the Configuration Management platform in alignment with industry standards and regulatory requirements
- Establish governance controls to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and integrity across the CMDB
- Design and enforce policies, standards, and procedures for configuration data management
CMDB Data Management
- Maintain and govern Configuration Items (CIs) and their relationships across:
- Insurance applications
- Infrastructure components
- Business and technical services
- Ensure consistency and proper classification of CIs aligned with CSDM and enterprise architecture standards
ServiceNow ITOM & IRM Enablement
- Support the ServiceNow ITOM ecosystem by ensuring reliable configuration data for:
- Discovery
- Service Mapping
- Event Management
- Ensure CMDB data provides accurate mapping to risks, controls, and compliance requirements
Regulatory & Compliance Support
- Partner with IT, Information Security, Risk, and Compliance teams to support:
- Internal and external audits
- Regulatory reporting
- Control validation activities
- Ensure CI are properly identified, classified, and maintained in the CMDB to support HIPAA compliance
- Maintain traceability between configuration data and regulatory control frameworks
Data Quality, Reporting & Continuous Improvement
- Define and monitor CMDB data quality metrics and KPIs
- Support data certification, reconciliation, and audit readiness activities
- Develop and deliver CMDB reporting and dashboards for governance and compliance insights
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance data quality, automation, and governance maturity
Key Skills & Experience
- Strong experience in ServiceNow CMDB, ITOM, and IRM (GRC) is PLUS
- Deep understanding of CMDB governance, data modeling, and lifecycle management
- Working knowledge of regulatory frameworks (HIPAA, SOX, ISO, etc.)
