Fueled is a leading digital strategy, design, and engineering agency seeking a Google Cloud Data Engineer. In this role, you will drive the technical vision for complex data pipelines, translating analytics requirements into scalable data workflows while leveraging Google Cloud Platform and ETL processes.
Responsibilities:
- Implement robust data ingestion strategies. You will create and configure GA4 properties across multiple sites and lines of business (LOBs). Utilizing Google Tag Manager (GTM), you will define and deploy standard and custom events, establishing triggers and parameters while executing real-time QA to ensure flawless data collection
- Architect cloud storage and data pipelines. You will build and manage scalable data environments on the Google Cloud Platform using BigQuery, Cloud Functions, and Pub/Sub. You will configure GA4-to-BigQuery exports, ensure reliable data ingestion, and strictly manage IAM and service account permissions for secure access
- Drive data consumption and visualization. You will bridge BigQuery and Looker, writing LookML to define semantic models that structure complex raw data into reusable views and metrics. You’ll develop standardized dashboards that support comprehensive global, LOB, and individual site reporting
- Orchestrate ETL and reverse ETL workflows. You will build pipelines that aggregate data from varied sources (like Iterable and GA4) into cohesive warehouses and lakes. You will manage data flow orchestration and transformation to keep systems in sync
- Enable lifecycle marketing and experimentation. You will leverage your understanding of Customer Data Platforms (CDPs) to establish identity resolution and audience syncing capabilities. You will build the data foundations necessary to support SEO/GEO discoverability and sophisticated experimentation initiatives
Requirements:
- Advanced knowledge of SQL
- Deep understanding of the Google Cloud Platform
