Zoox is developing the first ground-up, fully autonomous vehicle fleet and the supporting ecosystem required to bring this technology to market. They are seeking a seasoned Software Engineering Manager to lead the Fleet Management team, which is essential for enabling successful driverless robotaxis service, focusing on critical functions like dispatch, routing, and telemetry.
Responsibilities:
- Manage, mentor, and grow a team of individual contributors, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
- Provide technical guidance, establish and monitor key performance indicators to measure the effectiveness of optimization strategies and drive continuous improvement
- Manage the allocation of resources within the team, ensuring that projects are staffed appropriately and that team members have the necessary tools and support to succeed
- Work with partner teams to deliver tested high quality solution that meets the requirements of client services, as well as ensure smooth integration, deployment
- Proactively identify risks (schedule/quality/feature) and put in mitigation measures
