Senior Software Engineer - Top Secret

Parsons is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join their team in support of specialized military cyber operations. The role involves contributing to software architecture and development for critical national security missions, including server-side component development and integration with Django web systems.

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to server-side components in Python; Rapid prototyping of server side tooling
• Integrating with Django web systems to support client needs
• Allocate tasking to support larger-scale CNO tool development
• Developing frameworks used by other engineers to build applications and services
• Developing advanced proxy systems
• Evaluate new network technologies and make recommendations to project managers regarding integrating these technologies into the existing tools
• Develop documentation on new or existing systems

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in related field (Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, etc.) or equivalent work experience
• 5+ years of experience in exploit / CNO tool development
• 8+ years of python development experience within small to large applications
• Experience with network programming
• Experience with Linux as a development network
• Experience with Version control, specifically GITLAB
• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
• U.S. Citizenship is required
• Experience with Django, Pytest, DevOps, and Docker
• Low level systems networking
• Experience with C / C++
• Master's degree in related field (Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, etc.) or equivalent work experience
• Knowledge of AI assisted workflows
• Strong Python Debugging experience
