Job Overview:
- Responsible for leading large-scale IT projects, cloud and AI initiatives, project governance, stakeholder engagement, and enterprise solution delivery while ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and enterprise architecture standards.
Requirement/Must Have:
- University degree in Business, Management, or related discipline with six years of Project Management experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required.
- Combined experience implementing cloud-based projects and Artificial Intelligence projects and services with large-scale cloud providers.
- Extensive experience identifying, analyzing, and managing project risks on large and complex projects.
- Experience developing project schedules, resource estimates, work plans, and project execution strategies.
- Experience with AI project and service enablement using large-scale cloud providers.
Experience:
- Experience leading enterprise-scale projects using Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Experience establishing governance frameworks such as RACI models.
- Experience managing RAID elements including risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies.
- Experience overseeing vendors and external service providers.
- Experience leading stakeholder engagement and executive-level communications.
- Experience applying structured change management methodologies such as Prosci or ADKAR.
- Experience aligning communication strategies with organizational change initiatives.
- Experience with security controls, STRA, PIA, POPA, and HIA compliance activities.
- Experience with Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Planning.
- Experience with process improvement, documentation, and requirements gathering.
- Experience working within public sector environments preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Compile project charters and business/project plans to support project delivery activities.
- Manage projects focused on documenting business requirements, designing, and delivering compliant IT solutions.
- Develop recommendations regarding resource requirements, dependencies, methodologies, and policy implications.
- Produce and present project deliverables to internal teams, steering committees, and stakeholders.
- Manage multiple projects, governance activities, and project resources simultaneously.
- Work with project sponsors to ensure effective communication and escalation of project risks when necessary.
- Maintain strong client relationships and ensure ongoing client satisfaction.
- Collaborate with business and IT leadership to develop detailed project plans including scope, objectives, timelines, risks, benefits, and budgets.
- Develop project organizational structures with clearly defined stakeholder roles and responsibilities.
- Monitor and report project status against milestones, budgets, and resource plans.
- Facilitate issue and risk management processes throughout the project lifecycle.
- Develop project schedules, monitor work plans, and implement corrective actions as required.
- Provide leadership and guidance to project resources and teams.
- Develop project-related requirements documentation and supporting materials.
- Assess project outcomes and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Support change management and communication initiatives for business and project teams.
- Work within Project Management Office standards and contribute to defining new standards when required.
