
Position Overview
The client is seeking two intermediate-level Quality Assurance Engineers to provide Quality Assurance (QA) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) support for enterprise applications, including a Salesforce-based permitting platform and other internal systems.
The selected candidates will support implementation activities, execute and validate test cases, coordinate testing efforts with stakeholders, track and manage defects, and assist in modernizing QA practices for internally developed applications. The role also includes project coordination, reporting, and documentation responsibilities within an Agile environment.
Review, validate, and execute UAT test cases
Facilitate UAT sessions with business users and stakeholders
Track, document, and manage defects using Jira and Zephyr
Participate in defect triage meetings and regression testing activities
Review test coverage and ensure traceability between user stories and test cases
Validate system functionality against business requirements
Set up and maintain QA test environments for internally developed applications
Implement standardized QA processes and testing methodologies
Develop reusable test cases and regression test suites
Coordinate with developers to verify build readiness before testing
Configure and maintain Jira/Zephyr for test management and issue tracking
Conduct QA reviews with developers, analysts, and project managers
Maintain QA dashboards and testing progress metrics
Prepare weekly and monthly status reports
Coordinate with cross-functional teams including developers, analysts, vendors, and business units
Assist with backlog refinement and QA documentation activities
Support project schedules, risk tracking, and delivery coordination
3 to 5 years of QA/UAT experience supporting enterprise applications.
Hands-on experience with Jira and Zephyr or equivalent QA/test management tools.
Experience writing and maintaining detailed test plans, test cases, and regression suites.
Experience working in Agile development environments.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and organizational skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively across technical and business teams.
Familiarity with Salesforce or Clariti platforms.
Experience supporting enterprise permitting or government systems.
Knowledge of QA standards, testing frameworks, and defect management processes.
Relevant degree or certification in Computer Science, Information Technology, QA Engineering, or a related field.
