Sr. Developer - QA Manual and Automation Engineer

Genpact is an advanced technology solutions company leading in AI and digital innovation. The role involves ensuring high-quality software delivery through strong technical expertise and quality assurance, while also mentoring junior team members and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

• Lead consulting projects and engagements serving as the primary point of contact for clients and providing strategic guidance on testing strategies automation frameworks and quality assurance processes
• Architect design and implement robust test automation solutions using Java Selenium and API testing frameworks to ensure the reliability scalability and performance of software applications
• Develop tests that validate application behaviour across multiple browsers and devices leveraging Playwright's capabilities for browser automation
• Develop and maintain automated test suites for API endpoints and database interactions leveraging tools and libraries such as Rest Assured and JDBC
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers QA engineers and project managers to define testing requirements establish best practices and drive continuous improvement in software quality
• Design and implement automated tests using Playwright for web applications to ensure functionality performance and usability
• Conduct code reviews performance optimizations and troubleshooting to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of test automation scripts and frameworks
• Mentor and coach junior consultants and team members providing technical guidance sharing knowledge and fostering a culture of learning and collaboration
• Stay abreast of industry trends emerging technologies and advancements in software testing and quality assurance and apply relevant methodologies and tools to enhance testing processes and practices
