Cardinality-ai partners with state governments to modernize critical systems that improve the delivery of services to millions of citizens. We are seeking a highly motivated Agile Business Analyst / Scrum Master to support the successful execution of technology and process-driven initiatives, collaborating closely with stakeholders and facilitating Agile practices.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand objectives, processes, and key pain points
- Elicit, analyze, document, and validate business and functional requirements
- Translate business needs into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and supporting documentation
- Support backlog refinement and prioritization in collaboration with the Product Owner
- Ensure requirements align with business goals and are feasible within technical and delivery constraints
- Facilitate workshops, stakeholder interviews, and working sessions
- Manage requirement changes and ensure traceability throughout the delivery lifecycle
- Serve as Scrum Master for one or more Agile teams
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
- Coach team members on Agile principles, frameworks, and best practices
- Identify and remove impediments, coordinating with external teams and stakeholders as needed
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and transparency
- Track and report team progress using Agile metrics such as velocity and burndown charts
- Communicate project status, risks, dependencies, and impacts clearly and proactively
Requirements:
- Experience working as a Business Analyst on technology or process‑focused projects
- Experience serving as a Scrum Master or Agile team facilitator
- Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and SDLC concepts
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to balance detail‑oriented analysis with big‑picture delivery goals
- Ability to multi-task and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Experience with Jira - board configuration, reporting and promoting best practices
- Experience working in cross-functional or distributed teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Certified Scrum Master Certification
- Experience in Health Care domain
