Mechanical Engineering Researcher (Remote)

Hire Feed is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Researcher to help teach AI how to interpret and solve complex technical problems. The role involves creating technical prompts, evaluating AI model responses for accuracy, and ensuring high standards of technical reasoning, all in a fully remote and flexible schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Assess the factuality and relevance of domain-specific text produced by AI models
• Craft challenging technical prompts and write expert-level answers in Electrical Engineering
• Evaluate and rank domain-specific responses generated by AI models for accuracy
• Review and correct AI-generated chains of thought for technical correctness
• Provide clear, precise written feedback on engineering reasoning and methodology
• Collaborate with the expert community to maintain quality standards

Requirements:

• Ability to write clearly and precisely about engineering concepts in fluent English
• Strong analytical reasoning and rigorous attention to technical detail
• Comfortable working independently in a fully remote, asynchronous environment
• Education in Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, Civil, Aerospace, Materials Science, Biomedical, Nuclear, or Engineering Physics
• Experience working as a practicing engineer, researcher, or in a comparable highly technical/analytical role
