Lawyers On Demand, a Consilio company, is actively recruiting for a Senior Legal Technology Project Manager for a remote opportunity. The role involves delivering complex programs that enhance legal teams' technology capabilities and requires strong project leadership and stakeholder management skills.
Responsibilities:
- Own end-to-end delivery of legal technology initiatives, including intake, discovery, requirements definition, planning, execution, implementation, and post-launch stabilization
- Contribute to shaping the Legal Technology roadmap, helping identify and sequence initiatives that improve capability, efficiency, and scalability
- Establish strong stakeholder alignment by setting clear expectations, ensuring shared understanding of objectives, and maintaining transparent communication throughout delivery
- Translate legal and business needs into actionable direction for technical teams, while also explaining technical options and tradeoffs in plain language for non-technical partners
- Facilitate project visioning with stakeholders to confirm outcomes, prioritize scope, and ensure alignment to broader business goals
- Proactively remove blockers—closing gaps, escalating appropriately, and making timely decisions to keep work moving
- Apply structured problem-solving to keep projects on track, balancing constraints while maintaining focus on business value
- Prioritize initiatives and tasks based on strategic importance, risk, and expected impact
- Partner with end users to define validation approaches (e.g., UAT), ensuring test coverage reflects real workflows and solutions meet operational needs
- Develop and maintain project artifacts such as process flows, testing documentation, implementation plans, decision logs, and other delivery materials
- Define measurable outcomes and success criteria, using data to inform decisions, track progress, and quantify results
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- 8+ years leading cross-functional initiatives and coordinating third-party vendors, ideally within legal technology or business technology environments
- Demonstrated ownership and follow-through, including stepping beyond narrow role boundaries to ensure delivery outcomes are met
- Strong business analysis capability: diagnosing inefficiencies, designing scalable improvements, and turning stakeholder input into clear, testable requirements
- Ability to synthesize and present insights to support decisions and drive alignment
- Excellent stakeholder management skills—able to build credibility, set expectations, and communicate effectively across Legal, business partners, and technical teams
- Comfortable collaborating with technical teams and understanding system interactions and dependencies (without needing deep engineering expertise)
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with visual collaboration or mapping tools such as Miro, Mural, or Visio for documentation and process design
- Strong strategic thinking: connecting business goals to delivery plans, managing risk, and sequencing work for maximum impact
- Adaptable and resourceful in environments with shifting priorities, competing requests, and evolving requirements
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence outcomes without direct authority
- Experience using Power BI is strongly preferred
- Familiarity with document management platforms such as iManage, NetDocuments, or SharePoint
- Experience implementing or supporting legal systems such as matter management, legal hold/eDiscovery platforms, or AI-enabled search/knowledge tools
