Cognizant is a leading technology company, and they are seeking a Senior AI / Machine Learning Engineer to design and deliver generative AI-driven applications and enterprise-grade ML solutions. The role involves collaborating with architects, developers, and business stakeholders to implement AI-powered solutions and optimize machine learning models.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop AI-powered web applications using technologies such as.NET, React, and Python
- Build agentic AI solutions to automate software development lifecycle stages including requirement analysis, coding, testing, and deployment
- Develop and optimize prompt engineering strategies and leverage orchestration frameworks such as LangChain or LlamaIndex
- Train, fine-tune, and deploy large language models (LLMs) and generative AI models for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency
- Architect and implement RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) pipelines and integrate AI APIs into enterprise systems
- Develop ML models integrated with ASP.NET applications, including building C# APIs and REST/gRPC endpoints for inference
- Manage and preprocess structured and unstructured datasets to improve model quality and reduce bias
- Monitor and maintain AI solutions in production using LLMOps practices, ensuring compliance with data privacy and ethical standards
Requirements:
- 3+ years of machine learning engineering experience with hands-on model development and deployment
- Strong programming skills in Python and ASP.NET/C#
- Experience working with Azure cloud platform (2+ years)
- Experience deploying and maintaining production-grade ML systems
- Experience building APIs and integrating ML models into enterprise applications
- Experience in the financial services or fintech domain
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Machine Learning, Statistics, or related field
- Experience working in financial services organizations (3+ years)
- Deep expertise in Azure ecosystem and AI services
- Relevant Azure certifications (AZ-204, AZ-305, or similar)
